
Rick Wakeman hails from Canada and lives in Siem Reap, Cambodia. He combines significant professional back ground in clinical psychology and leadership development in large corporations, with hands-on experience in founding and operating 3 successful social enterprises in Cambodia to provide real value in assisting new or recent social enterprise start-ups. Rick regularly contributes to the development of local NGOs and Social Enterprises through training workshops and/or conducting evaluation and feedback loops to assist the social entrepreneur in the development of best practice.
Since retiring in 2013 as a psychologist and educator, Rick has focused on developing opportunities for persons with disabilities in Cambodia, which has and will continue to increase their access to local and international markets, provide food security for themselves and their families and improve housing.
Rick can assist a start-up with a wide variety of practices, including organizational development, human resources, accountability and transparency, financial management, internal and external communications, compliance with government requirements, strategic and business plans, succession planning, and many more.
Our goal is to provide our clients with low cost, but high impact assistance as they develop their social enterprise.
